The DAK-025 Water Flow Indicators
Intrinsically Safe Flow Indicator - ATEX approved for underground mining
The intrinsically safe water flow indicators type DA and type DAK can be mounted in any position and monitors the flow of fluid mediums (water or liquids with water-like viscosity) in closed and filled systems. It is certified Ex ia I for underground mining.

The DAK flow control device is exclusively designed to monitor liquid mediums within closed and filled systems. It monitors volume in [l/min] or [m³/h]. Integrated changeover contacts, in conjunction with different kinds of line monitoring modules enable the use of the flow control device in either SPS or conventional controlled systems. Minimum and/or maximum flow settings can be adjusted and monitored. The flow indicator type DA is only for monitoring use, whereas the flow indicator type DAK have a contact boundary switch integrated. Inside of the massive brass housing, a contact breaker is fitted to the volume dial. The lower and upper boundaries can be externally adjusted over the whole range of the dial using the key, which is delivered with the unit. The most common applications of use for the DAK water flow indicators are pumps where a possible "dry run" must be monitored and prevented and the flow control in cooling circuits of motors.The medium is water, or liquids with a water-like viscosity.
