The brand new L2000 rechargeable safety torch is now a lot lighter than its predecessor and comes in two versions. It has retained the swivelling head design for a “hands free” use when carried in the jacket or in the belt, or it can just be used as a conventional torch. The L2000 intrinsically safe torches now either comes with two halogen bulbs with an average life of up to 300 hours or in an LED version. The two bulbs give different light types: a long range focused luminous beam with the main bulb and a scattered beam for short distances with the auxiliary bulb, and the version with LED lights is virtually indestructible.
