Intrinsically Safe Measuring and Maintenance Instruments

Use them in a hazardous area! It could save your life ...

Are you using non-intrinsically safe measuring and maintenance instruments in potentially explosive environments? Did you know that non certified equipment poses a very real explosion hazard?

So for your own safety and that of your co-workers, please make sure that you use certified equipment.

The MCT 202 HART communicator is an Intrinsically Safe Configuration and Maintenance Tool for HARTŪ or DE protocol enabled pressure or temperature transmitters. Comprising of the industrial PDA PC i.roc 627 complete with integrated HARTŪ/DE Modem and software applications MC Toolkit and SDC 625.

The VIBTOOL PDA intrinsically safe vibration meter is a true multi-tasker that can also be used to check bearing condition, temperature and RPM or rotating equipment in a hazarous area.

The iCAM intrinsically safe digital camera is perfect for taking picture records of installation and maintenance inspection for plant equipment as well as for use in site surveys to refer to when making offers or proposals or reporting incidents or accidents pictorially.

Measuring technology inside the Ex-hazardous area is always a critical subject. This new 87V Ex intrinsically safe multimeter offers a safe, compact solution, as the allows safe measurements both inside and outside (maximum of 10 A/1000V) of the Ex-hazardous area.

With the intrinsically safe stroboscope tacho ,you can now observe systems at work without shutting them down! The Tacholite TL 20-Ex is a high-performance digital LED stroboscope for daily use in the ex-area. It is especially useful for observing and inspecting systems that exhibit rapid periodic motion sequences. It is certified for use in ex-hazardous areas classified as zone 1 and 21.

The Intrinsically Safe Tachometer Ex-Tacho 10 is ideal for fast laser-accurate measurement of the revolution of a shaft (either with or without contact) and speed (utilising the special adapter) in Zone 1.

The Intrinsically Safe Data Loggers series Ex 171-0 and 171-3 is used for the measuring and storing of temperature levels, as well as humidity levels (Ex 171-3) in hazardous areas.

With the Intrinsically Safe Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge 1071-Ex measurements of wall thicknesses can be made quickly and accurately in the range of 0,7 to 400 mm.

The Ex-DT 12 Intrinsically Safe Continuity Tester offers an acoustic and optical indication and is ideal for fast testing of electrical continuity in Ex-hazardous areas. It is intrinsically safe and has been ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres of zone 1.

Our Intrinsically Safe Magnet Probe is ideal for testing solenoid valves, relays, transformers and flow-meters in Ex-hazardous areas. If you hold it near a solenoid valve that is energized, for instance, then the tip of the probe will light up red to indicate that the valve is indeed energized.

These intrinsically safe wall clocks are the perfect choice for precise time indication in Ex-hazardous areas. Features include Quartz movement and the possibility to adjust for simple daylight saving. The wall clocks come in a robust metal housing.
