Intrinsically Safe Gas DetectorDiffusion version of the Eagle, for 1 to 4 gasesWe are proud to introduce this Intrinsically Safe Gas Detector, the newest version of the most versatile portable gas detector on the market, the diffusion style EAGLE. This version of the EAGLE maintains the same features as it’s original sample drawing design, but utilizes a unique diffusion sensor block external to the Eagle for quicker response and recovery.
This sensor block is capable of simultaneously monitoring up to 4 gases and may be connected directly to the instrument or to the end of an extender cable, available in 20 foot and 50 foot lengths. The sensor block is also equipped with a separate buzzer for remote alarms. The sensors located in this water resistant enclosure are the same high quality, field proven sensors that the industry has relied on for many years. The diffusion EAGLE’s ergonomic design offers easy access to controls through its large glove friendly buttons. These controls include LEL or PPM detection, autocalibration, alarm silence, demand zero, peak hold as well as a wide variety of other features. Each channel has 2 programmable alarm levels plus TWA (Time Weighted Average) and STEL (Short Term Exposure Limit) alarms for toxic channels. Each alarm level is adjustable and can be set to latching or self-resetting. The diffusion EAGLE will continuously operate for 34 hours on alkaline batteries or 20 hours on Ni-Cads.
