UNI Flow Measuring Instruments
To Monitor the Flow Rate
The UNI Flow Measuring Instruments monitor the flow rate of the medium that is being measured. It flows through a hole inside of the housing and starts to turn the turbine wheel. The turbine wheel is fitted with five enclosed magnets. The magnetic field is registered and evaluated by the electronics and according to the set parameters for the nominal width, the flow volume is showed using the display.

All necessary parameters and adjustments for the nominal widths of the UNI devices are set by the manufacturer and do not need to be changed.
Devices with thread fittings and a nominal width between DN 15 and DN 50 are built out of brass (MS58). Devices with flanges and a nominal width between DN 50 and DN 300 are built out of steel (ST37) and have an internal brass (RG7) bush fitted.
