The Fern Tel 2 Explosion Proof Telephone

Shock resistant and with a high IP66 degree, ideal for outdoors use

The Fern Tel 2 Explosion Proof Telephone has been certified for use in a zone 2 hazardous area. Its housing is made of impact-resistant and shock proof polycarbonate.


Thanks to its robust housing, high Ingress Protection (IP66) and the use of stainless steel screws, the Fern Tel is well suited for use in areas with high air humidity and explosive atmospheres. It is available in yellow or black and can be either wall mounted or used as a desk top phone.

The receiver volume can be boosted by 6 or 12 dB(A) and the ringer output is approximately 96 dB(A). The Fern Tel's temperature operating range is from - 25°C up to + 60°C.
