The L2000 Explosion Proof Rechargeable FlashlightWith swivelling head for hands free use in jacket pocketThe L2000 Explosion Proof Rechargeable Flashlight is a sturdy torch, manufactured with thermoplastic resin that is highly resistant to impacts. The lens is provided with a protective disk made up of a 4 mm thick tempered glass. The protection level is IP67, making the torch totally dust proof and submersible in water for short periods. It has been approved for Gas-Ex zones 1 and 2 and Dust-Ex zones 21 and 22.
It comes with a swivelling head for a “hands free” use when carried in the jacket or in the belt by means of its built-in holding clip; or it can be used as a conventional torch. It has two halogen bulbs with an average life of up to 300 hours, which give two different light types: a long range focused luminous beam with the main bulb and a scattered beam for short distances with the auxiliary bulb. Thanks to the use of light weight and small sized Nickel Metal Hydride elements, the torch has a 4 hours autonomy. The battery level is indicated by an electronic display that informs the user of the remaining battery level at every time. In addition to this, a signal warns every 15 seconds when the autonomy is below 10 minutes. The battery is protected against deep discharges by electronic cut.
The L2000 is environmentally friendly in that the battery and the remaining components of the torch have no environmental contaminant elements.
